High School Seniors Wanted! {Lee’s Summit Area High School Senior Photographer}

I’ve decided to have a contest and a referral rewards program!

FIVE lucky high school seniors (those graduating next May 2013) have the chance to get a hugely discounted senior session with me AND the opportunity to earn CASH!

Here’s the deal…

First, I need to get 5 seniors willing and wanting to do a senior session with me by October 2012! The cost will be $250. Normally a senior session is $400, so you’d be saving $150! Now, because I know a bunch of you might want to get in on this deal, I will have to hold a contest to decide the lucky five!

For the contest…

E-mail me a picture of you and tell me a story about your high school experience, where you are planning on going to college, what you want to do with your life, your high school activities and accomplishments, etc. The deadline for these entries will be by midnight Thursday, May 31, 2012. Once I get all of the entries, I will make a blog post of your pictures and stories and that’s when the voting will begin! The top 5 seniors with the most votes WIN! (Details of the voting will be explained in the official contest blog post.)

The 5 winners will get the discounted senior session with me, which includes up to an hour and a half of on-location photography, online proofing, and a DVD of all of the high resolution, digital image files. I’ll even throw in 56 wallets to sweeten the deal!

So now you are probably wondering, how will I earn the CASH!?!??

To earn the money…you will also be given 10-15 web-sized images with my watermark on them to post on your Facebook profile, blog, etc. as well as 15 special rep/business cards for you to write your name on and hand out to your other senior classmates. For every one of your classmates that books and completes a senior session with me, you will get $25 cash in hand! So if you get 10 of your friends to book with me, you could earn back your entire discounted session fee!!!! And what high school grad doesn’t need cash?!?!

AND your referred friends will be getting a discount, as well! If they bring me the rep/business card with your name on it they will receive a 25% discount off of a senior session and 56 die-cut wallets!

Lauren & Devin Get Hitched {Lee’s Summit Wedding Photographer}

What a perfect wedding Lauren and Devin had! The weather was amazing, the lighting was awesome, the guests were fantastic, the mood was fun and light-hearted. It could not have gone any better! I am super excited to share this sneak peek with you! This was my first newborn shoot with TWINS!!!! And it was a surprise, too! This session was super last minute, as the twins’ parents are experiencing so many life changes all at once! Not only are they adjusting to having two new babies, they are trying to sell their house in Illinois, while living here in KC, and looking for a house to move into in St.Louis! Alisha’s husband wasn’t able to be present during the session because he is over on the other side of the state working. Wow! Talk about a lot going on! It’s no wonder the little detail of the fact that there were two babies was lost in communication! :)

Anyway, as soon as I saw two babies, I was very excited to work with them both! Such teeny ones they are, too! Charlotte and Ellison were both under six pounds! Such cuties! And they were both so good; little Charlie was so cooperative and slept the entire time! Her mom had to wake her up just to feed her! And little Ellie…she was a little more temperamental, but as soon as she was next to Charlie, she settled down so quick! It was so amazing to see the two of them laying there together so peacefully! The bond twins have is just so special!

And the last sneak peek from my mini-session day! I am so glad the rain held out on us all and the day went so smoothly! Everyone was so cooperative and fun and it made it so easy! I think we got some great shots of everyone, including this family. LOVE the trains!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE the little guitar they brought for the girls to have in some of their pictures. So fun! And it added just a little bit of flare to the images!

Well my computer is being incredibly difficult tonight, and I was hoping to get a sneak peek up for everyone tonight, but alas, I cannot. But, luckily for Casey and Jason, I managed to get at least theirs ready!

The mini-sessions went wonderfully yesterday! I cannot wait to share more images from the day. And can I tell you how much I am loving the train yard??? SO fun!!!! Definitely one of my favorite locations!

Oh little Alex! He was so excited to join this world and came three weeks early! And what a little guy he is…weighing in a 6lb 2oz! But, don’t let that weight fool you…this little guy was probably THE most active and strong newborn I have ever worked with! It was unbelievable! And so alert and awake!!! He just couldn’t wait to get out an party with his mom and dad!

Oh I am SO excited to share these images with you! I absolutely LOVE shooting engagement pictures, and I don’t get to do them nearly as often as I would like! So I was so stoked for yesterday’s session; all day yesterday I just couldn’t wait for the time to come for me to meet these guys! And did I get my hopes up too high???? Absolutely not! I am so happy with their pictures! There are so many stunning shots of Lauren and Devin there at the Lone Summit Ranch; it makes me so excited for their wedding coming up next month, which will be in the same location!

I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I have been!!!! It’s a pretty long sneak peek, because I had the hardest time narrowing it down!!!
